Pocket battles is a Try and But™ game of interective warfare. The game plays in real time with continuous combat and animation, requiring the commander of each side to give new orders to their squad leaders as the battle progresses (you can of course pause the game to ponder the situation if you wish)
When you first run Pocket Battles it will be a locked demo, features such as open and save game will be disabled. You may unlock it through the registration process which involves one phone call with a credit card at the ready. Screens appear after hitting the "Buy" button that lead you through the process.
Once unlocked all features of the game become available. You should give copies of the game to others AFTER you have unlocked it so that you may participate in the user reward scheeme.
From time to time The Black Electron will produce an upgrade to this game and, if you have unlocked the older version, the new version will unlock for you automatically. All such versions will be backward compatible with saved games from older versions.
